"...upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."
We are real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together in the covenant love of our Creator.
WE USED TO BE...
We used to be completely broken but are now grateful for undeserved redemption, astonished by amazing grace, healed by forgiveness and humbled by the divine invitation to be included
in the greatest cause on earth.
We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels.
We have compassion for the poor, and our hearts are open to the rich.
The local church is still the hope for the hurting and broken world that we live in today. There’s never been a time in history where a life-giving and dynamic church is needed more than right now.
In October 2018, our team planted Rock Church Chicago in our home with a dream of planting a church that would transform the south suburb and the inner city of Chicago. A church that would be life-giving, still serving homeless our heroes such as our veterans, police officers, firefighters and EMS. A place where people would experience the love of Jesus from the moment they see us on social media and walk through our doors. Why? Your story matters, and if you don’t like it, your story can change right here.
The most recent statistics show that over 80% of the 2.7 million people in Chicagoland do not attend church on a regular basis. What many see as an obstacle, we see as an opportunity. What many said was impossible, God made it possible. On October 14, 2018, Rock Church was born. The vision is to help people on their spiritual journey by moving them from where they are to where God wants them to be. Rock Church is a place that loves people unconditionally, no matter their race, their background, or their struggles. From the moment you walk into the doors, you’re going to experience genuine community. A place that you can belong, even before you believe.
Your generous tax-deductible gifts are so appreciated and will be used toward reaching Chicago with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
